Martin Hagn single shot color casing

Was honored to be asked to color case this for another Guild member. These shots were taken immediately after the quench and drying. I like to to relax the parts at much lower temp and then oil to mature the colors a little bit, but that had not been done yet.

Hello Bill,

What kind of distortion did you get on the receiver in regards to the breech block fit ? Very nice color casing!

Thank you, Steve. Not aware of any distortion. I did the work for Jim Katzung, who would be handling the reassembly.
